Marina's Blessing

Yesterday we blessed Marina at church. She did such a good job! She started screaming at the beginning but then quieted right down as soon as Mike started talking and he gave her a beautiful blessing.
Marina looked so elegant in her dress
and even gave the camera a smile :)

proud parents

Grandma O'Farrell, who made Marina's dress (thank you!)
Mike's family was there including his brother John who flew out from UT to meet Marina and stand in the circle while Mike blessed her.
Marie and Joe joined us afterward for dinner, thanks so much for coming you guys!
I love those cheeks! And I have to say thank you to my friend Anya for helping me make bows, I made this one and the white one for her blessing.
Mike's mom got us all Volcom shirts for an early Christmas present.
Mike and John thought it would be fun to swaddle Marina in a Terrible Towel, she just screamed :)

I love this picture, notice the spit up running out of Marina's mouth and all over John. Thanks for coming John, we loved having you here!

Halloween Fun

Marina as the cutest little ballerina, getting ready to go to the ward Halloween party on Friday night.
Marina and I at the party, Mike had to work :(. I decided to throw on my old Pitt volleyball jersey so I could have some sort of costume (I know it's really not creative)

I usually take a bunch of pictures of all the kids in their costumes, but my hands were a little full this year. Here is Macey holding Blake and Anya's baby Claire.
On Saturday we hung out with some friends and decided to dress up as zombie Circuit City employees (the dead retailer that Mike used to work for). He also wore this to work at Sears that day and got some good laughs!

Weekend Recap

My sister Luisa flew in from San Diego to spend the weekend with us and meet Marina. Thank you so much for coming and taking a break from your busy life to hang out with us in the 'Burgh!
Marina (and all of her cute fat rolls) cuddling with Aunt Luisa
Getting ready to go on a walk, Marina was a little nervous

The weather was PERFECT and the leaves were incredible! We walked on this trail in Frick Park that was covered with leaves

We had fun dressing Marina up for my friend Megan's wedding reception
and again for church, isn't she adorable? Thanks Jill for the stylish outfit :)
Blake and Anya invited us over for a pumpkin carving party and yummy food (thank you!), so we had to dress Marina for the occasion (she's on her way to a smile in this pic)
It was fun to get the three babies together again and see how much they've grown! Marina is for sure the biggest, look at her cheeks! What a cute chunk :)
The finished pumpkins

The next day we went to Aladdin's and Rita's (yum!)

We had such a fun and busy weekend that Marina and I didn't even leave the apartment yesterday we were both exhausted! Thanks for coming Lu, can't wait until we live closer so we can hang out all the time!
